We spoke to real women about what it’s really like to be ‘trying’. We asked you what you wanted to know, what you wanted to see, and how you really felt.
You don’t need the sales pitch. You need clear advice and a little bit of support because this doesn’t have to be a lonely road.
Even though we make it easier, we know it’s hard. Feel free to cry and kick, swear and shout along the way, because that’s perfectly normal.

We want to help more people conceive, and develop more amazing products, and we need a brand to match our ambitions.
That’s Mylo. We’re updating our brand, our site, and – from Autumn 2020 – our packaging too. We’ll be evolving from myLotus, developing our app and our Tracker, and using up the remaining ovulation and pregnancy tests we have. The packaging might be old, but the tests are too good to just throw out. That’d be a real waste.
We can’t do it all overnight. So you might see mismatched logos and colours here and there. Please bear with us as these things take time.

Penny has worked in consumer healthcare for over 15 years, specialising in marketing-led educational programmes in women’s health. She's been involved in many campaigns that raise awareness around intimate health conditions, understanding the customer, and providing information and support to women at various life stages.
Karen heads the technical function at Mylo and she’s worked in the medical diagnostic industry for over 20 years. She has a PhD in Biochemistry and has developed novel tests for both lab and home use in multiple applications, including fertility and infertility.
Maddy is an experienced CFO having spent over 25 years working with growth life science and technology companies. Prior to Concepta she was CFO for Ieso Digital Health, Psioxus Therapeutics and Lab21, and was Finance Director at Alliance Pharma plc from its start-up through to the IPO on AIM. She is an FCCA and has a PGDip in Financial Strategy from Said Business School, Oxford.
Stuart has been a consultant in gynaecology, reproductive medicine and surgery at Hammersmith Hospital since 2002. His main research interests are IVF, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis & screening and fertility preservation.
Barbara is a clinical fellow in reproductive medicine at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Andreia Trigo RN BSc MSc
Andreia is a multi- awarded nurse consultant, author and TEDx speaker. Her mission is to improve accessibility to fertility care and support worldwide at minimal cost to populations.
Ro is a specialist fertility dietitian with a Master's degree in advanced nutrition, and a second one in clinical research. She is also a committee member for the Specialist Maternal and Fertility Specialist Group of the British Dietetic Association.
Lucy is a qualified Rishiculture Ashtanga yoga teacher, pregnancy & baby yoga teacher, performance coach and HR consultant. She aims to empower people to look after their mental, emotional and physical wellness.
Joanne is an author, counsellor, coach and emotional-healing meditation practitioner. Her book "The Inner Fix" was published in 2016 and her work has been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Psychologies, ES and The Times Magazine.
